Paul B. Scaffidi Levelbreaker Coach
The Levelbreaker System was created by Paul Scaffidi after a successful career in sales and leadership in the Computer and Communications Industry. He started as an Account Executive and rose up the ladder as a Sales Manager, Regional Manager, Area Vice President and Vice President of Sales for (3) Fortune 100 companies including Telenet Communications, the #1 Data Communications company in the world, at the time.
As a sales executive he learned Counselor Selling, Behavioral Selling and Strategic Selling which resulted in many signature successes for himself and his team including Fidelity, CIGNA, General Dynamics, Hartford Insurance and The Bank of New England. He was promoted into sales leadership where he opened new offices, built teams and developed territories. He created three National Accounts Programs. He was hired to be a change agent, a role he thoroughly enjoyed. It enabled him to learn how to build the infrastructure, processes and training to create a High Performance - High Integrity Professional Sales Organization.
After 20 years he decided to share what he learned so founded Performance Systems & Associates, Inc. His primarily reason was very personal. His positions as VP of Sales/ Chief Revenue Officer were very demanding, with weekly travel which made it virtually impossible to participate in his 3 young children’s activities and development. He decided to build his own business and bought a Brian Tracy Franchise, became a facilitator of the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” program by Stephen Covey and aligned with Tony Alessandra, a world leader in Assessment Technology and Training.
He learned that success is very personal and to have it all we need a system to help us. We need to build or refine our vision, purpose and goals. We need to set priorities and we need to focus on what’s most important.
Once we decide what’s most important we can create our action plan for achieving our objectives with the habits to reinforce the right behaviors and decisions to achieve our desired outcome.
What I learned in each position from Sales Executive to Vice President is that a fast start is crucial for success in sales or any change management initiative. Momentum is key and trying to implement too many changes concurrently, rarely works.
