Taking Flight with DISC
The Taking Flight with DISC training program is the most comprehensive and impactful DISC training experience for individuals and teams to improve communications, team effectiveness and collaboration. This is not your typical DISC session. The Taking Flight with DISC program breathes new life into the tried-and-true DISC model. In this workshop on the DISC styles we addressed the greatest challenge in training - Retention. We knew that participants were often challenged to remember the DISC letters and their association to individual characteristics. By using images he linked the DISC styles to four birds, the Eagles to the Dominant (D) style, Parrots to the Interactive (I) style, Doves to the Supportive (S) style and Owls to the Conscientious (C) style. As a result people remember the styles like never before. And if people are going to apply new wisdom, they have to remember it! A year from now, when people are asking questions like, "What does the D stand for?" they will still recall that eagle's personality is Direct, Decisive, Daring, and Driven. We have literally rewritten the book on the DISC styles and revolutionized DISC training.
Chameleon Leadership
It’s a wisely understood leadership principle that the great coaches, while stringent on their process or system, are also very adaptable to the individual needs of their players and direct reports. This ability is a natural skill for some and a learned competency for others. The Chameleon Leadership program teaches current and future leaders how to flexibly adapt to the needs of their direct reports and players. This one-day session takes existing skills to the next level by linking the four personality styles (Eagles, Parrots, Doves and Owls) to a range of core leadership skills.
Managers will quickly discover that in all likelihood they have been creating an environment in which they themselves will thrive instead of an environment in which their people will thrive. Without realizing it, leaders regularly impose their personality style on their staff. Traditional leadership training ignores this reality and typically espouses a one-size-fits-all approach to leading others. Chameleon Leadership teaches current and future leaders how to flexibly adapt to the needs of their direct reports. This one-day session takes existing skills to the next level by linking the four personality styles (Eagles, Parrots, Doves and Owls) to a range of core leadership skills.
Since the most successful leaders are the most adaptable leaders, Chameleon Leadership teaches managers how to adapt to the people who report to them.
Picture a decisive Eagle manager who assertively drives for bottom-line results. This Eagle communicates candidly and succinctly. There’s no time for small-talk when there’s work to be done! Now imagine a soft-spoken Dove reporting to this Eagle. The Dove may feel like the manager lacks compassion and only cares about the work and not the people. You probably already know that the number one reason people leave their organizations is their manager. By contrast, Chameleon Leaders not only get superior results, but also they engender loyalty, trust and commitment.
Chameleon Leadership includes:
Transcending the Classic Manager: They will discover the importance of incorporating style flexibility into their management and leadership skill sets to become The Chameleon Leader.

Leading Inclusive Meetings: Chameleon Leaders will learn how to engage Eagles, Parrots, Doves and Owls so that meetings are inclusive, synergistic and productive.
Delegating for Results: By experiencing delegation in action, leaders will discover the importance of flexing to their direct report’s style when assigning work.

Team Dynamics
The Team Dynamics training program helps people understand their team and how to move them to become a high-performing team.
The session begins by examining how style creates culture. It then explores what an environment dominated by one style would look and feel like.
Participants learn about the ideal environment for each style and discover the strengths and challenges of culture based on that style.
Team members will deepen their understanding of each other using the Team Dynamics Participants Guide & Report. The report contains an overall team graph and the opportunity to create a Team Grid that captures the entire team at a snapshot glance. With their new knowledge about how the styles manifest in a team environment, they will examine the strengths, challenges, and potential blind spots of the team.
The report also contains a one-pager for each individual to help them better understand each other. They will learn about what motivates each team member, what each person needs at work, the type of environment they each tend to thrive in, and the dos and dont’s of communicating with each team member.
Participants will learn about the Stages of Team Development (Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing) and will discover how each style experiences each stage. For example, during the Storming stage, Eagles face conflict head-on, while Doves try to smooth out conflict in the name of team harmony. Parrots may minimize conflict by positively reframing issues, and Owls may focus on disagreements related to the process rather than interpersonal dynamics.
Once they understand the Stages of Team Development, team members examine their team’s progression through the stages and identify the current stage of development. With a new understanding of how the styles react at each stage, they discuss moving the team from its current stage to becoming a high-performing team.
If the team wants to dive deeply into its culture, they can create a set of ground rules. Guided by a skilled facilitator, team members will use the styles as the foundation for creating an environment that resonates with anyone of any style. They will explore communication, meetings, risk-taking, innovation, managing change, decision-making, and conflict management.
The Team Dynamics training program not only reinforces the knowledge and skills based on the four styles, but this session also helps a group become a high-performing team.
The Team Dynamics Training Program:
Describe the gifts each style brings to a team
Develop a work environment that helps each style succeed
Identify the strengths and challenges of teams comprised of each style
Identify how your team’s style impacts team dynamics
Link the Stages of Team Development to the four styles and your level of growth
Create ground rules to clarify norms and expectations
Improve team cohesion and effectiveness
